Tiny Farmers Market

Food safety

Tiny Farmers Market connects you with home bakers, small farms and cottage food makers near you. Most of them cook in their own kitchens, which are usually not licensed or inspected the way restaurants and grocery stores are.

Each seller is responsible for following their state's cottage food rules, including how food is made, labeled and stored. Tiny Farmers Market doesn't make, inspect or handle any of the food sold here.

Before you buy

  • Read the description, and message the seller about ingredients and allergens if anything is unclear.
  • If you have a food allergy, ask how the food is made. Home kitchens often handle nuts, wheat, dairy and eggs on the same surfaces.
  • Ask how long the food keeps and how to store it once you pick it up.

If something seems wrong
