Terms of Service
Last updated October 17, 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Tiny Farmers Market (the "Platform"), whether you're browsing, buying, or selling. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you sell on the Platform, the Seller Agreement also applies to you and takes precedence for anything specific to selling.
2. What Tiny Farmers Market is
Tiny Farmers Market is a marketplace that connects local buyers with neighbors selling homemade and homegrown food for pickup. We provide the website and the tools to list, discover, message about, and pay for these foods. We are not a party to any sale. Each transaction is between the buyer and the seller directly, and pickup is arranged between the two of you.
3. Who can use the Platform
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account.
4. Food isn't inspected. Buy and eat at your own discretion
Listings are homemade or locally produced by individual sellers, not by Tiny Farmers Market, and have not been commercially inspected, tested, or certified by us. We don't verify ingredients, allergens, or food-safety practices beyond what a seller discloses. You buy and eat anything you purchase through the Platform at your own discretion, and should ask the seller about ingredients or allergens before you buy. See our food safety page.
5. Payments, fees, and refunds
Payments are processed securely through Stripe; we don't store your card details. At checkout, buyers pay the seller's listed price plus a separate service fee, shown as its own line before you pay. Because each sale is between you and the seller, refunds and any issues with an order (wrong item, no-show, quality concerns) are worked out with the seller first. Sellers can issue full refunds from their dashboard. If you can't reach a resolution, reach out through our contact page and we'll help where we can.
6. Acceptable use
When using the Platform, you agree not to: try to move a transaction off the Platform to avoid fees; post false, misleading, or harassing content; scrape, copy, or resell data from the Platform; attempt to get around our security or account restrictions; or use the Platform for anything illegal. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these rules.
Keep purchases on the Platform. Before you've placed an order with a seller, don't share or ask for phone numbers, email addresses, social media accounts, links, or outside payment apps (such as Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, or PayPal) in messages. We automatically hide this information until an order is placed and may review messages where it was hidden. After you've ordered, you may share contact details to coordinate that pickup. Paying outside of checkout means you lose the Platform's payment protection and refunds.
7. Your content
Anything you post (listing photos and descriptions, shop details, messages) is yours, but you grant Tiny Farmers Market a license to display it on the Platform to operate and promote the marketplace. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to post what you post.
8. Third-party services
The Platform relies on third-party services, including Stripe for payments and, if you choose, Google for signing in. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which we don't control.
9. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that listings will be accurate, that sellers will fulfill orders, or that the Platform will be available without interruption or error.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tiny Farmers Market is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, any listing, or any transaction between a buyer and a seller. This includes, without limitation, any illness, injury, or loss related to food purchased through the Platform.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Tiny Farmers Market harmless from any claim, loss, or damage arising from your use of the Platform or your violation of these Terms.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violating these Terms, for safety concerns, or at our discretion. You can stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time. See our data deletion page.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
