Tiny Farmers Market

Seller Agreement

Last updated October 17, 2026

1. What this agreement covers

This Seller Agreement applies to anyone who lists food or goods for sale on Tiny Farmers Market (the "Platform"). By checking the box to agree when you set up your shop, you agree to the terms below, in addition to our Terms of Service.

2. You're responsible for your food

You confirm that everything you list is made, grown, or raised by you, and that you are solely responsible for its safety, quality, ingredients, and the accuracy of any allergen or labeling information you provide. List ingredients and common allergens in your listings, and keep food safe until pickup. Tiny Farmers Market does not inspect, test, or certify any product listed on the Platform. Buyers purchase and eat your products at their own discretion.

3. Cottage food law compliance

You confirm that you are legally permitted to produce and sell your products from a home kitchen or equivalent under your state's cottage food laws (for Utah sellers, the Utah Cottage Food Production Operations Act), including any required permits, product restrictions, revenue limits, and labeling requirements. You are responsible for knowing and following the rules that apply to you. Tiny Farmers Market does not verify your compliance and takes no responsibility for it.

4. Tiny Farmers Market is a marketplace, not the seller

Tiny Farmers Market provides a platform that connects buyers and sellers. We are not a party to the sale of your products, do not take ownership of them, and are not responsible for their condition, safety, or legality. Each transaction is between you and the buyer directly.

5. Fees and payment

Payments are processed through Stripe. Buyers pay a service fee (currently 5% plus $0.55 per order) on top of your listed price at checkout, which we keep. Stripe's standard processing fee (currently 2.9% plus $0.30 per order) is deducted from your payout. The rest is paid out to you through Stripe. These fees may change with notice.

6. Refunds

You can issue a full refund for an order from your seller dashboard. When you do, your payout for that order is returned and the buyer is refunded in full.

7. Listing standards

Listings must be accurate, for real available products, and limited to homemade or locally produced food and goods. No commercial or resale items, no prohibited or non-food items, and no misleading photos or descriptions. Tiny Farmers Market reviews new listings before they go live and may reject, remove, or request changes to any listing at its discretion, including in response to reports from buyers.

8. Keep sales on Tiny Farmers Market

If you meet a buyer through the Platform, sell to them through the Platform. Don't ask buyers to pay you by cash, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, PayPal, or any other way outside of checkout, and don't move the conversation off the Platform to arrange a sale. Before a buyer has placed an order with you, don't share or ask for phone numbers, email addresses, social media accounts, or links in messages. We automatically hide this information until an order is placed, and we review messages where it was hidden. Once a buyer has ordered, you may share contact details to coordinate that pickup. Repeatedly trying to take sales off the Platform may lead to your listings being removed or your shop being suspended.

9. License to use your content

You grant Tiny Farmers Market a license to display the photos, descriptions, and other content you upload on the Platform to operate and promote the marketplace.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Tiny Farmers Market harmless from any claim, loss, or damage arising from your products, your listings, or your violation of this agreement or applicable law.

11. Account suspension

Tiny Farmers Market may suspend or remove your shop or any listing at any time for violating this agreement, for safety concerns, or at our discretion.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tiny Farmers Market is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or from any transaction between you and a buyer.
